Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics

Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics, formerly known as Zhejiang Material School, is a full-time provincial state-run vocational college. At present, oriented by modern production services, it has set up 31 majors, including logistics management (intelligent logistics), international trade practice (cross-border e-commerce), IoT application technology, Internet finance, flight attendant, entrepreneurship and management of small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.

The institute is an international vocational education and training contact center of UNESCO and a construction unit with high-level professional groups in the first round of the “Double High Program” (the construction program of high-level vocational schools and majors with Chinese characteristics). It is also one of the first batch of national outstanding backbone vocational colleges, one of the first batch of educational informationization pilot units of the Ministry of Education, and a national demonstration site of vocational education and training. With 3 first prizes and 1 second prize of national teaching achievements, the institute has successively won the honors of national advanced unit of vocational education, the special award for outstanding achievements in campus culture construction issued by the Ministry of Education, the national advanced collective for employment of graduates from ordinary colleges and universities, the home of national model workers, etc.

In cooperation with government agencies such as the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and other well-known corporations such as Wuchan Zhongda Group Co., Ltd., the institute has established three corporate universities, namely, Wuchan Zhongda Management College, Shengquan Business School and Deloitte Wuchan Zhongda International College, the Party School of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the Party School of Wuchan Zhongda Group Co., Ltd., providing the main position for the education and training of more than 50,000 party members of state-owned enterprises in Zhejiang Province and the party members of central enterprises in Hangzhou.
